Shortly after
Phineas & Ferb ended, Dan and Swampy announced their next show to come on Disney XD.
Here's a description of the plot (http://www.toonzone.net/2015/07/sdcc2015-a-farewell-to-phineas-and-ferb-panel-summary) that Toon Zone wrote up a while ago. (Note: His name was originally Mikey before being changed to Milo.)
QuoteCurrently, he and Marsh are working on a new show called Milo Murphy's Law which is about the adventures of Milo, a descendant of the famous Edward Murphy associated with the adage, "Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong." Instead of treating his descendant's adage as a curse, Milo thinks of it as a blessing that leads him to all sorts of wonderful adventures. A few rough stills were shown from Milo Murphy's Law showing Milo in the most impossible situations that could only occur when everything goes wrong from his bus running into a bunch of underground creatures after sinking into the ground to aliens attacking his school. The series is scheduled to premiere either late 2016 or early 2017 on Disney XD.
Weird Al Yankovic announced today on Twitter (https://mobile.twitter.com/alyankovic/status/695291046687735809) that he'll be voicing Milo. Here's what he looks like:

That's all the info we have for right now.
A cartoon with Weird Al as the star? That's more than enough to sell to me! I'm in!
Even though P&F had a lot of problems near the end with running out of ideas, the one thing I always appreciated was how it tried to avoid cynicism as much as possible. It gave the show a flavor of its own. They appear to be keeping that idea here.
I kind of hope one change to this new show is that they don't rely too heavily on formula. Though it gave P&F a lot of its character early on it ended up being its undoing near the end.
More of the voice cast revealed. (http://www.animationmagazine.net/tv/weird-al-yankovic-stars-in-disney-xds-milo-murphys-law) No pictures, unfortunately. (That would be nice.)
Here's the intro. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ARTRJQfV90k)
Catchy theme.
The show premieres October 3 (On Demand a week earlier).
The first episode is available for free (https://www.amazon.com/Going-Extra-Milo-Undergrounders/dp/B01LX8IS0P) on Amazon.
EDIT: Also iTunes. (https://itunes.apple.com/us/tv-season/milo-murphys-law-vol.-1/id1149466462)
Signing up is too complicated for me since I don't have my own credit card. Oh well, I'll try another way or wait until it airs.
Do you have a cable subscription? The first episode will be available on Disney XD's website on Monday.
Should be able to see it then, I'm sure.

Cool! Will watch and give a review if I can tomorrow. Love that the designs look better than Phineas and Ferbs!
I liked it. It's formula should be built for more variety than Phineas & Ferb's was. There was a lot of varied jokes in only one full episode.
The concept of the show alone was brilliant, but the execution is fantastic. I'm glad they've strayed from the P&F formula and are focusing on the potential of having mundane situations escalate worse and worse in increasingly ridiculous and comedic ways. Really enjoyed it and looking forward to more.
According to Dan and Swampy, this show will not be like P&F. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iL6tuoATv8I) This show will have an ongoing story instead of resetting every episode.
EDIT: Also, there's this. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VXDVKeb29QQ) :D
Interesting to hear. The Phineas & Ferb wore out by the end, so I'm hoping this one will refrain from being stale for longer.
I've always enjoyed Dan & Swampy's sense of humor, but Phineas & Ferb's reliance on formula made it stale after a certain point. This show looks to be avoiding that same problem, and I think it should turn out all the better for it in the long run.

They're going to do story arcs like Gravity Falls? Cool!
Extended theme song. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MOdBoSjzT6c)
Also, the show will be temporarily airing premieres on The Disney Channel for who knows how long. You can watch them now (http://watchdisneyxd.go.com/milo-murphys-law) on WatchDisneyXD, though.
New episodes resume March 6!
Took long enough. Man, Disney is awful at scheduling.
Season 2 greenlit! (https://twitter.com/alyankovic/status/836652577164935168)
New episodes start this Monday.
New episodes begin today!
Also, it looks like the Watch Disney XD website (http://watchdisneyxd.go.com/milo-murphys-law) went stir crazy and uploaded all of this week's episodes early.

EDIT: Another episode added to the app: The Substitute (http://watchdisneyxd.go.com/milo-murphys-law/video/vdka3720077/01/15-the-substitute)
The show returns with an hour-long special on July 22.
The hour-long special "Missing Milo" premieres tomorrow. Check out a sneak peek. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=huDjQ-KaAnA)
Also, Phineas & Ferb crossover (http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/amp/live-feed/milo-murphys-law-phineas-ferb-crossover-is-coming-1022459) coming next year.
I am interested in the cross over since apparently there is some kinda rule that prevents the Disney Animation shows from crossing over. For example, in the Wander Over Yonder episode "The Cartoon" Lord Dominator was supposed to watch Gravity Falls at the end, but because of some rule they have they went with some writing around the trademark by having it be a combination of Hanna-Barbera and GF.
A week of new episodes on September 25. (http://www.toonzone.net/forums/threads/september-2017-disney-premieres.5613191)
Season 2 finally premieres January 5. (https://www.latimes.com/entertainment/herocomplex/la-et-hc-milo-murphys-law-phineas-ferb-crossover-20181212-story.html)
Jesus, Disney! Why'd you sit on this season for AN ENTIRE YEAR?! :wth:
