And that's pretty cool about the Master System. I finally found a good used video game store here, and it has a crapton of old Master System games. Actually it has decent to good selection of many old systems, everything from the NES and SNES to stuff like the Sega CD and Atari Jaguar, and even the Dreamcast(which is good news for me, since I still have plans to pick one up sometime). Really the only thing that disappointed me was the paltry N64 selection.
Yeah, I love HGTV. My favorite channel by far.
No idea what I want to change my username too, but I think it's about time for a change. I'm not really the same person I was when I came up with it.
I saw the Master System and I almost bought it (until I realized I had no money for it), but I mean they had Alex Kidd, Outrun and Wonderboy so it was hard to pass up. My goal is eventually to build up a collection of every retro system up to the N64/PS1 but ONLY with games I like and will play, as that's been one of my dreams since I was a kid. For that I only need a Turbographx and a Master System. But since I was short on money I got a few games instead.
I got SoulBlazer (a Sony game on the SNES... Will never be re-released), Rygar NES (Classic), and Jurassic Park Rampage Edition (licensed) for my colection.
Oh wow. I'd hit that up as soon as you can then. Hopefully they'll still have the Master System when you come back.
I'd love to have a gaming library like that, but that might take too much time and money for me. I'm also interested in starting a film library full of movies that should be considered "essential" or just good. I have about 160 something planned for it so far, and I'm thinking of more to add onto that every day. Hopefully I can start when I get a steady job.
Yeah, I mean this is sort of like a life hobby. It's something I plan to do in my spare time and build up a collection over a large amount of time. One of my friends does that with Disney stuff, and another with JRPGs, so for me I decided to focus on that.

I might have to check out the graphic novels of the new JiM when they come out. I love the mythology and characters of Marvel's Asgard, so I hope this fares better for me.
I still haven't read much of recent Marvel, lately. I've been told Avengers Academy was good (even read the first two volumes), but that's getting canned. Then there was good news about Ellis' Secret Avengers run, which is no longer with us. And I still don't know what the hell happened with Hickman's SHIELD. I did read some issues of Waid's Daredevil and loved them.

I'm curious... are Kinder Surprise eggs available there? They're basically a hollow chocolate egg with a small toy inside. Some places have them banned because they figure them to be a potential choking hazard.
Since they were made in Germany, yeah they exist :D we have them in Denmark too, it's never really come across anyone's minds here to ever want them banned, but the toys in them these days are mostly not really much to go for, and they're pretty espensive if in the end, all you want is the chocolate, in which case they make countless of other things that are worth more... They occasionally have a selection of small figures though, I guess if people are into them that's cool...

There was a time when the figures they sold had really high quality designs too, nice shapes, weight to them, and looked really great, the ones i specifically remember the best are their hippos, they looked great and often had themes and all sorts of crazy things going on, making them worth it to collect if you felt like doing so... But mostly these days it's just plastic toys to assemble yourself, or even completely plain pieces of plastic that are supposed to be toys or something... I don't think I even saw stickers coming with these things you assemble on your own for a while, so they're kinda not really worth it at all form what I recall lately...
Now, if they ever made high quality (like the hippos) figures of Animal Crossing themed characters, I'd be all over these, but nice mostly it's just flimsy toys when I check them out these days, there's little that drives me into bothering to buy those... :srs:

Yeah, the FDA has banned the import of the Kinder Egg into the US. Remember the Wonder Balls? They were kind of similar, and they even originally had a small toy of various Disney characters. Eventually they changed it to stickers, where the inside of the ball had candy instead. Don't think they make the Wonder Ball anymore though.

Thanks everyone, and it's good to be back Foggle and Micki! I don't even remember how many years it's been. Didn't stop showing for any particular reason, just kind of drifted, wasn't reading much manga anymore. It may have even been towards the end of my grad school time, and I was all-consumed. Also I am SUPER behind on the Excel Saga manga... I stopped at Vol. 22, and wasn't buying anything more except for Spice & Wolf novels (very big fan of that under-appreciated series as well. I have a thing for the under dog. Or wolf, in this case), getting the novels where the anime fell off. But I do mean to get back to ES, once I have some of this mysterious stuff people call "money" to "spend" on stuff that is not "Food" or "Bills" or "Crushing debt" :D
For anyone that remembers, I am nearing completion of my novel's 10th, read it, 10th editing (!!!) before I send it to an artist friend of mine who is doing the cover work on royalty commission, and I will be publishing through Amazon Kindle to start with. So hopefully "Weird Wyrd" will be on the market within the next year or so... of course I said that last year, too, but fuck it. I will also be working on my new light novel series "Mountainheart" in the very near future. Things got put on hold these past couple years due to my mother's failing health, and since January this year her passing. Life is starting to get back to normal now, or as normal as it gets with me.

My last attempt at publishing fell short, plus the market is pretty ugly for new authors, even those that get published. Terms companies are offering for new work are frankly insulting. I will find a way to persevere though :D. Worst case scenario I could even email you the MS Word copy I have once it's edited. Kind of annoying to read that way, but if you want, I can do that. I have another 360 pages yet to edit (out of roughly 570-580 - there is still some page fluctuation). Kind of long for a fart-joke laden comedic fantasy novel, but I'm told it reads faster than that :D.
