Title: Newgrounds in it's infinite wisdom
Post by: Jay L. Corbell on November 25, 2012, 07:55:48 PM
Just so y'all know, Zone-Sama was awarded "King of the Portal".

If you don't know who Zone-Sama is, that's probably for the best.

Also, I love newgrounds, even if it did corrupt my innocence as a child.

I haven't been to NG in years.

Who's Zone-Sama?

Zone is the person who takes your childhood and animates it into pornography.

Well, that depends on how old you are, but still.

Sometimes hilarious, sometimes terrifying.

Way I see it, he didn't get it just because of his fanart hentai, but because of his really hilarious ZTV News show. Seriously, give that a watch sometime, it's tame and doesn't have porn on it (just updates about his site, that's it).

Honestly, he's really good with animation.  But as far as his comedy goes, I'm not a fan.  I've watched two of the ZTVs and the jokes seem forced to me.

Agreed. That fucking Cyborg flash is too funny, though. :cyborg:

Holy shit is the site almost dead. I'm a member of an NG flash group and we're all at this point waiting for the day the Fulp brothers decide to shut it down. Sad as it is as I had some good times on the site.

Then where would your Flash games be posted?

Sadly, YouTube pretty much obliterated most other forms of teenage Internet entertainment.

I don't see how the site is "dead", there's still plenty of different content.
