Oh, I knew. I was waiting for it to be released before I shared the news with those who didn't.
Life is not about the second chances. It's about a little mouse and his voyage to an exciting new land. That, my friend, is what life is.

Sir, do you have any Warrants?
I got their first CD, but you can't have it, motherfucker!

Well I just saw the movie.

Has anyone here seen it yet or plan to? I'd rather wait for someone who has before I discuss it.

I was supposed to see this over the weekend with some friends but there was a change of plans. I'd be interested in your thoughts to find out if this is still worthwhile seeing.

Man, I'm not going to lie, I absolutely loved parts of it, did not care for others at all. I don't want to spoil the film by getting into what I did and didn't like until more people go and see it, but it's such a hit or miss one for me.

I will say that I've had both versions of "Let It Go" on a loop on and off since I saw the movie, however.

Over the 5-day spread, Frozen made $93 million, $66 mill of it on the 3-day weekend alone. This blows away both Tangled's 5-day totals and Toy Story 2's previous Thanksgiving record. So yeah, this is going to be a big deal for Disney.

But seriously, "Let It Go" is an incredible work. If you haven't heard Idina's version, this is a wonderful representation.

Saw this film today. All in all, pretty enjoyable. Laughed at certain parts of it. I thought the songs were decent. Probably not in my Top 5-10 films, but would still watch again. Olaf became my favorite character, he wasn't as stupid as I thought he was going to be.

Also, kind of liked that post-credits scene. Was kind of hilarious.

I missed out on the post-credits scene, since I wasn't expecting one. There's a slight chance that I might see it again, so I'll have to stay after this time.

As for Olaf, I have to admit that he wasn't as annoying I was expecting based on the trailers, even if he's not among my favorite comic relief characters. But the thing that makes him stand out is how he adds to the plot, as an extension of Elsa's power, the appearance of Olaf is her way to remind Anna of their past and help her find Elsa, something she must have wanted subconsciously. It's a great touch which adds some layers to their story.

Man, people sure do like bringing up that animation error with Elsa's braid going through her arm. I honestly didn't notice that when I saw the film the first time. Like a few seconds of an animation error will tarnish my like for this film, this is the guy that grew up watching shit like TMNT where every episode had an error or two in them.

Avaitor

The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast and Aladdin all have bigger errors, yet their reputations aren't tarnished at all by them.

The haters will fade away in due time. Not to say that it isn't a problem, but a relatively minor one in the longrun which only a small minority is grappling on to.

Their errors would have been blown up if the internet was around then, too. Best to just let it roll of your back.

It's official- Frozen topped Monsters University's domestic gross. This is the first time a DAC surpassed a Pixar film released in the same year's box-office intake.

So yeah, this is big news.

Wreck-It Ralph didn't top Brave last year?  I kind of thought it did.
It doesn't matter what you say, soon you'll be dead anyway.

I think overseas it might have. From what I understand, outside of the US and UK , Brave wasn't a big deal.

So I heard Frozen's soundtrack became the 4th animated feature soundtrack to reach Number 1 on the Billboard Top 200.The other 3 were Curious George, Pocahontas and The Lion King. I'd say it's pretty well deserving all things considering, the songs were obviously one of the highlight. Well, then again... I do like Robert Lopez's work, so I am biased towards that. ( Has seen Avenue Q Off-Broadway and Book of Mormon on Broadway.)
