This doesn't seem like the sort of source material DWA should be tackling. It seems likely to go in some overly juvenile/uninspired direction. (Home got a lot of flak for being yet another misfit-centric movie and for getting rid of its source material's more interesting qualities, but in my opinion, Jim Parsons's portrayal of Oh went a long way towards redeeming it)

Of note, Beekle is the creation of Dan Santat, who was also behind The Replacements. All I remember about that show is that it hung around the moribund ABC Kids block long after it was canceled and that it seemed to get a lot of (deserved or undeserved) flak.
