Netflix has recently added all 26 episodes of season 1 up here (the only other WB series we have is JLU) and I'm thinking of watching them. Any other opinions or thoughts on this one?

I've been thinking of picking this one back up, but yeah, I'd recommend it.
Life is not about the second chances. It's about a little mouse and his voyage to an exciting new land. That, my friend, is what life is.

Sir, do you have any Warrants?
I got their first CD, but you can't have it, motherfucker!

Aside from amidst the grumbling naysayers against Scooby Doo from the early years, I'm still happy to say I pretty much grew up with the franchise (Tired formula and cheap animation flaws included!)  :il_hahaha:

Caught some episodes of Mystery Incorporated earlier this year and just.. inexplicably forgot about it. Animation is certainly nice quality - regular 2D and CG compliment each other wonderfully in certain key areas. The writing appears to have a little more depth and thought put into it.

What does make me sad is not having Casey Kasem voice Shaggy but facts are facts; Kasem is in his 80s and his voice has obviously become seasoned. But it was a wonderful choice to have him cast as Shaggy's father.

And Frank Welker... What can you say about this guy? He's just awesome as he continues his role as Freddy.. he still sounds the same!!!!

So much heart running strong in this show. Recommended if you're a nut for nostalgia (like myself!)

The entire series is now available to stream on Netflix. If you've been meaning to check out the show or re-watch it, now you have a perfect opportunity to do so.  :)

I'm picking this back up and went to the first episodes I didn't recognize (which I believe were 9 and 10). It's still pretty clever, but my main problem with the show still stands- I wish that the girls talked about more than just the guys they're into.

I especially don't get why Velma wants to be with Shaggy so much, You'd think that a guy who is having such a hard time deciding between a girl and his dog wouldn't be worth the time to begin with.

She also gets a bit... well, later on, anyway, she gets to care a bit too much.

When the show is focused on the story, it's fun. When it doesn't, it gets old fast.

The crossover episode was a lot of fun! I think my favorite part of the episode was seeing the original designs used for the gang for the majority of it. I'm in favor of the show's newer ones, but the change of pace was nice.

Wait, this show still has no episodes? For some reason I thought it was finished years ago.

It ended not too long ago. I'm just watching it on Netflix.

The weird love-triangle subplot between Shaggy, Scooby and Velma aside, I still maintain that this show is the best thing to come out of the Scooby Doo franchise.

Yeah, it's better than just about any of the other Scooby shows. I can't really watch more than a couple of episodes here or there, but it's a fun series to see develop. I just don't get why the love triangle was necessary.

I still think that honor belongs to Zombie Island.

Well I said show, not movie. ;)

Oh, I got to see the haunted mansion trap episode today, the one that was meant for the original Mystery Inc gang. That was another welcome change of pace without straying too far from what makes Scooby likable in the first place, and gave everyone a little something special for their own. The following episode wasn't too bad, either.
