How have we gone on this long without a topic for the most important awards show to any animation fan?

The Annie Awards have been going on since 1972, created by June Foray and hosted by ASIFA-Hollywood, and they give honors to the greatest films, TV series, and shorts every year.

Check out this year's nominees. The next show starts on January 31.

I don't really care about the Annies, but I hear that June Foray showed up in a wheelchair. There isn't really a source for this that I know of, but apparently she had a fall in her bath.

Damn. But at least she's still here with us.
