I'm waiting for my friend to find some time off, so we can watch it together. I'll finally watch the 2013 film when we do.

I'm stoked, though!
Life is not about the second chances. It's about a little mouse and his voyage to an exciting new land. That, my friend, is what life is.

Sir, do you have any Warrants?
I got their first CD, but you can't have it, motherfucker!

I finally got around to watching the premiere. This is probably my favorite new show that I've seen this year! :joy:

Avaitor

About my only problems with the show so far is that the girl that's teamed up with Ash and Pablo isn't a great actress, and that the other woman's subplot tended to drag things down.

Otherwise, this was a lot of fun, and Bruce Campbell hasn't lost an ounce of his charm as Ash. I cannot wait for the next episode!

I agree about the supporting actress who's teamed up with Bruce and Pablo. She could still grow into her role, though. She's not bad, just kind of outshined by the other two.

The police officer's sub-plot is fine to me, though. I'm sure that it'll connect to Ash's story-line later on in the season, but for now it's a really good way to hearken back to the original Evil Dead by having a more vulnerable character on their own who doesn't know exactly what they're up against and feels a sense of genuine fear and dread when faced with their situation. You can't get that with Ash in this show since he's already a certified bad-ass. So, to me, this sub-plot serves that purpose of showing the Evil Dead as a genuine threat to everyone else.

I'm not against the state trooper subplot, since I do agree that it seems like that she'll factor into the story, and let's face it- as great as Ash is, it would be a lot to take in if the show isn't able to be serious every once in a while.

So far, I'm not crazy about her integration into the show, but it's only one episode, so it's not too much to get mad about. If the show gets better from here, I'll be very happy.

This show has been pretty good throughout, but wow, that girl has not improved at all! She really needs to go.

Neither. It's on Starz. If you have it, you can watch it on Starz Play for free.

EDIT: Amazon also has it.
