Archived Schedules

One thing I have always been fascinated by are Archived Schedules and I thought it would be fun to share some of these schedules with you guys. I have found a lot of them. Let me know what you think.

Here's some of the ones I have found

Fox Kids (September 13 - 18, 1993) (Timeslots may have varied depending on where you lived)

This was when Power Rangers was still very new and Animaniacs was a brand new show. They eventually became the biggest shows on the lineup for a while, alongside Batman and X-Men

In my opinion, fantastic lineup. So many fun shows that are still enjoyable to this day (Power Rangers, Merrie Melodies, Tiny Toons, Animaniacs, Batman, Bobby, Eek!, Taz, and X-Men). Good stuff honestly.

Disney Channel (January 5 - 11, 1998)

This is a very good lineup. The scheduling format was awesome. Cartoons for older kids before and after school, shows for the little kids when the older kids are at school, shows for families around dinner time, movies at night for families, and Classic Disney stuff for adults at late nights. That was a fantastic Weekday scheduling format at the time.

The Weekend schedule was also good, with shows for the little kids in the early mornings, movies in the late mornings and early afternoons, as well as mid afternoons, Live Action shows for older kids/families in the afternoons, shows and movies for the family to enjoy during the night, and Classic Disney stuff for the adults at late nights

Not only that, but the lineup was great. My favorite part of the channel in the 2000s was always Playhouse Disney (Didnt watch the channel much aside from that).

Bear in the Big Blue House was still a new show at the time and it's the show I look back at the most fondly of all the shows I watched back then and probably my favorite show when I was little. As someone who's autistic, that show really helped me growing up and still to this day, its a fantastic show. I'm thankful that I got to grow up with that show. Big childhood favorite of mine.

Other great shows included Adventures in Wonderland, The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh (Another huge childhood favorite of mine), Katie and Orbie, Madeline, Amazing Animals, and Jungle Cubs, among others. My all time favorites on the lineup are Bear in the Big Blue House, The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Adventures in Wonderland, Katie and Orbie, and Amazing Animals.

During this time, it was getting in more and more homes as a basic cable network. It was sort of a transitional period. They were also planning to compete more with Nickelodeon during this time (In August 1998, Zoog Disney debuted).

Finally, Cartoon Network (New Schedule (at the time) Started Tuesday, October 12, 2004)

Tuesday - Fridays (Mondays - Fridays beginning the week after)

This was during the City Era of the network. This was a great lineup honestly. There was a lot of great stuff on the network like Yu Yu Hakusho, Codename: Kids Next Door, Time Squad, Ed, Edd n Eddy, The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, Dexter's Laboratory, The Powerpuff Girls, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Johnny Bravo, Teen Titans, etc. Even if some of them only aired once a week, it was still nice to see them on the network.

Cartoon Cartoon Top 5 during this time seemed to mostly consist of KND, Grim, Eds, and Dexter cartoons, with ocassional airings of Courage, Johnny Bravo, and The Powerpuff Girls.

There was definitely a lot of variety on the network with a lot of fun shows to watch.
