I'll be honest, The Triplets of Bellevlle didn't click with me much at all. However, this recent film from it's director seems to be up my ally, and it's history definitely makes me more interested in it. (if you haven't heard about that, look it up, but the short of it is that this acclaimed French writer/director wrote a very personal script before he died which was never adapted into film until this).

It's getting a wider release after scoring an Oscar nomination, and in a week or two it'll be coming to the theater right next to my house. I'll be going then, although it'll be a hard sell to my friends.

If you're interested in seeing it, here's the schedule so you can see if it's coming to your area.
Life is not about the second chances. It's about a little mouse and his voyage to an exciting new land. That, my friend, is what life is.

Sir, do you have any Warrants?
I got their first CD, but you can't have it, motherfucker!
