No order:

Rocko's Modern Life
Ahhh! Real Monsters
Ren & Stimpy
Hey Arnold!
Rugrats
Doug
Kablam!

Wouldn't be surprised if I forgot a few. Nick was a treasure trove of good programming back then and their Nicktoons wasn't even the tip of the iceberg for me when it came to that.

My top 10 would be:

1. Rocko's Modern Life
2. Rugrats (original run)
3. The Angry Beavers
4. Avatar: The Last Airbender
5. Hey Arnold!
6. Spongebob Squarepants (Pre-movie)
7. Doug
8. The Penguins of Madagascar
9. The Legend of Korra (That second season really knocked it down)
10. Kablam! (Because I barely remember a lot of it)

I'm not the biggest fan of Nick's output, but what I like I really like.

Mine would be:

1. Rocko's Modern Life
2. Spongebob Squarepants (seasons 1-5)
3. The Angry Beavers
4. Invader Zim
5. Hey Arnold!
6. Aaahh!!! Real Monsters
7. Avatar: The Last Airbender
8. The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius
9. My Life As a Teenage Robot
10. El Tigre: The Adventures of Manny Rivera

These are pretty much all the Nicktoons I still enjoy, though I barely remember Kablam! since it's been years since I watched it (I remember really enjoying the Action League Now! segments, though). As for Rugrats, I loved the show when I was younger, but I tried rewatching it a while back (and yes, I watched pre-Dill episodes), and while I did still enjoyed most of them I couldn't really get into the show like I used to. In contrast, I've rewatched watch all of the above a while back as well, to various extents, and I enjoyed them as much as I ever had.

1- Rocko's Modern Life
2- Invader Zim
3- Rugrats (pre-Dil)
4- As Told by Ginger
5- The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron, Boy Genius
6- Kablam!
7- Hey Arnold!
8- Avatar: The Last Airbender
9- The Ren & Stimpy Show (mostly pre-Games, but I'm picky all across the board)
10- AAAHH!!! Real Monsters

I could mess around with the rest of the list, but #1 is fine where it is.

1. Rocko's Modern Life
2. Avatar: The Last Airbender
3. Kablam!
4. Hey Arnold!
5. SpongeBob SquarePants (pre-movie)

And I don't remember anything else well enough to make a complete top 10 list. To be honest, I was always more of a Cartoon Network guy as a kid.

Yeah, the more I look back on CN back in the day, I realize that while I did watch plenty of Nick too, I don't really care about the network nearly as much. And even today, I find most of Cartoon Network's originals from the same time hold up a lot better than Nick's, generally.

Rocko's an obvious exception for me, though. I'll probably never tire of that show.

1. Rocko's Modern Life
2. Spongebob (pre-movie)
3. Rugrats (seasons 1-4)
4. Angry Beavers
5. Hey Arnold
6. Avatar: The Last Airbender
7. Invader Zim
8. AAAHH!!! Real Monsters
9. My Life as a Teenage Robot
10. ..........Doug?

Man, that was a hard top 10; after the first 7 or so, it's really a stretch. I haven't seen Kablam in so long that it's honestly hard for me to rank it, and really most of Nick's output I find to be generally unspectacular if not just plain bad. Doug just barely squeaks in; repeat viewings (I bought the DVD set! God knows what possessed me to do that) show that it does have some redeemable qualities, and the humor is so off-beat that you can't help but at least chuckle even though you know it's all pretty lame. Teenage Robot is on there only for the sight gags; the writing was awful, but some of the "blink and you'll miss it" background gags were pretty funny.

Eh, I dunno; Nick just doesn't have the sheer volume of quality output like CN had and really, still does. What they did well (Rocko especially) they did really well, but a lot of it was just really kinda mediocre.

Oh, yeah. Nobody can question the awesomeness of Rocko, and ATLA is a legitimately good show, as are various other Nick shows. It's just that there aren't all that many high quality shows that I was ever really attached to on the block the way that I was for CN. In fact, I may as well go make that list instead, now.

Man, I must be the only one who never really got into most of Cartoon Network Studios's output...

I dunno, I knew a high amount of people who found CN's stuff to be too weird. The thing is, many of their shows, even their more recent ones, are consistently worth rediscovery. Like how I was never a big Courage fan as a kid, but I really do appreciate the show as I'm older now.

I personally enjoyed CN more because their cartoons came off as more unique and were written in ways where you could tell that the studio was putting out the content that they wanted to put out and having fun with it, and this I had fun with most of it. Nick has its classics, don't get me wrong, but they also had way more shows pandering to commercialism and ones that felt safer and more conservative like The Wild Thornberrys (which I've always hated), or ones where they tried to emulate what they thought most kids liked and failed miserably at it (at least for me) in shows like Rocker Power, or ones that try to be sly and wacky but don't get the first thing about good humor like anything Butch Hartman has ever done.

When I compare that to the CC'a from Cartoon Network (some of which have actually gotten even better with age), and the fact that they were taking more risks by introducing an entire generation to a new animation medium with Toonami broadcasting many anime, and the fact that they had the rights to a bunch of great DCAU shows like BTAS and JL, it was just clearly far more interesting for me, back in the days and quite frankly I still find it to be better looking back on it now.

Nick's output always seems pointed toward trends and, ironically, their best stuff are the shows that don't.

Rocko's Modern Life, Rugrats (before it was brought back to cash in), The Angry Beavers, Avatar: The Last Airbender, old Spongebob, and Hey Arnold! don't really feel like products of their time and as such are more universal. I feel like I don't have to get into a "mood" to watch them.

I've mentioned this before, but I do think that the live-action shows from the 90's actually are stronger than a lot of the Nicktoons from the same period. Clarissa and Salute Your Shorts may be hokey, but they're better written than Doug or Real Monsters, while the game shows are just pure, fun energy and Pete & Pete is a wonder.

That said, I can't do Dan Schneider's stuff anymore. Any of it.

I'm not sure if I still like any of Nick's 90's live-action stuff. I couldn't get into them back when Teen Nick was re-airing some of them on 90's Are All That (before it because a Nicktoons-only block like it is now). I think the only Nick live-action show I still like is Ned's Declassified, honestly. Though, I guess I might still like the game shows too, since I have fond memories of them, but I haven't seen those in a long time, so I dunno.
