Holy shit, RIP Lemmy.

We actually lost Philthy Animal a few weeks ago, but wow. This one really hurts.
Life is not about the second chances. It's about a little mouse and his voyage to an exciting new land. That, my friend, is what life is.

Sir, do you have any Warrants?
I got their first CD, but you can't have it, motherfucker!

It doesn't matter what you say, soon you'll be dead anyway.

Most of Motorhead's albums are out of stock on Amazon, and Ace of Spades is their current top-selling metal album.

Wow though, it feels so unreal that he's gone.

I was looking for his new album yesterday to no avail. RIP.  :(

I'm honestly more hurt by Lemmy's loss, mainly since Lemmy was reportedly cleaner, but it's hard to deny Bowie's impact.

I'm listening to the new Megadeth, and it's pretty good. I didn't like their last 2 at all, and got tired of Endgame fast, but this feels like a better version of that one- a return to their thrash heyday, with better musicians on hand.

That said, Mustaine's recent problems are still present here- he's having a hard time adapting to singing with a deeper rasp, his conservative viewpoints are stinking up his likability and lyrical content, and he's basically given up being an interesting rhythm guitarist to match the lead. If Kiko Loureiro wasn't such a good shredder, though, that would be more of an issue. Chris Adler also proves to be a hell of a drummer, even though Lamb of God still isn't my thing, and it's just nice to have Junior back with them. I would have been curious to hear how this would have turned out with the 90's lineup, but I dig it anyway.

Besides, maybe they will come back next year for Countdown's 25th anniversary. Marty has expressed some interest in a brief reunion, and I would definitely be down to catch a tour with that lineup.

Bought the bonus track version. Working my way up to it. I binge-bought most of Megadeth's discography over the past month (I only owned Rust in Peace, Countdown to Extinction and Super Collider) and am starting from the beginning.

Huh, I thought you said that you weren't a Megadeth fan before. What changed that?

2016 literally has no chill. And he was so good, too.

It's official- Aerosmith are doing a farewell tour.

This has been in the cards for a while, and although it's sad to see a band that has been an important part of my life call it a day, I think now is a good time. I'd rather the band end on their own terms than split at the last minute when one of the members dies.
