Truth & Soul is one of the best albums of all time. Seriously. I'm actually kinda surprised Foggle put in over the Reality Of My Surroundings or Give A Monkey A Brain since it's not as weird as those. (It's better though)

Outside of a couple songs, I've never been a fan of Give A Monkey A Brain or Chim Chim's Badass Revenge. Truth And Soul and In Your Face are by far my favorites, but Reality Of My Surroundings and Still Stuck In Your Throat are up there, as well.

What might that be?

I'm serious.
You like to get down and dirty. :happytime:

There's a pattern in mine, as well.

Yeah, most of the music I listen to would fit rather nicely in a porno, a 70's blaxploitation flick, or a cheesy b-grade action or horror movie.

Yeah, Give A Monkey A Bbrain is the last album with Kendall Jones, the guitarist. After he left, the band just sort of went weird for weird's sake. He wrote the best songs, too. The self-titled debut EP is awesome, however. Hard to believe that a band so young could make stuff like that. Party At Ground Zero, Ugly, Another Generation, and Lyin' Ass Bitch are some great songs.

Sort of relevant, I think Avaitor would love this sum up of It's A Wonderful Life. Shame that isn't on an album.  :shit:

My favorite EP by them has to be Set The Booty Upright. In The Name Of Swing is a fucking JAM.

I actually like Just Call Me Scrooge more than It's A Wonderful Life, but that's just me. :humhumhum:

I love most pre-Chim Chim material. Except Babyhead... I don't know what the fuck that is.

Don't even talk about fucking Babyhead. Ugh.

Did you like their newest album? Jackass Brigade is really fun and their cover of Date Rape is great.

Have you heard any of the demos from Fishbone 101? And They Prey On You might be my favorite Fishbone song ever.

Jackass Brigade is the best song on the album, but I honestly found most of the rest pretty forgettable. Like, Fishbone was great because everyone in the band contributed but no matter who they get they just can't get songwriters good enough to cover for the lack of Kendal or Charlie in their sound. Without the rock n roll and the soul (Walter was the ska) they just have the funk and the weirdness left and Fishbone was at their best when they did everything.

Just listen to Housework. That song has everything great about music in it written by the whole band. If you love music, you can't hate that song. You just can't.
