Hey guys, it's a little late now, but if we're all still around next year (as we should be), would you be interested in doing a Secret Santa event?

Sir, do you have any Warrants?
I got their first CD, but you can't have it, motherfucker!

I'd love to, but I have so little money right now that I probably wouldn't be able to participate. :(

I was thinking of putting a fair maximum so that wouldn't be too much of an issue. No more than $20 per gift.

This would probably also mean that one of us should abstain from participating, so they can keep tabs of every address and whatnot without putting any kind of bias in. I'd be willing to sit things out is the idea is popular enough.

Since I probably can't participate, I can do the keeping track bit. :)

Been ridiculously busy, but certainly not busy enough to wish everyone at AR a very Merry Christmas!

Merry merry!

What did you guys get this year? Besides some clothes and practical stuff (including a $20 Publix card), I got

-GameStop's Funko box, which came with a Blackest Night Superman Pop, a Spider-Man Pop keychain, a Loki Pop pin, and ReAction figures of Predator and Jesse Pinkman (good deal all in all!)
-Mad Max Fury Road Blu-Ray
-Scott Pilgrim Vs, the World Blu-Ray
-Modern Times Blu-Ray
-The Great Dictator Blu-Ray
-Kendrick Lamar's To Pimp a Butterfly CD
-Silversun Pickups' Better Nature CD
-The Beatles' Magical Mystery Tour LP
-Ear plugs

I'm going to return that Beatles album, since I actually don't like MMT. But this was a smaller year for us. I did receive about $300 total from some family, though, which I used part of to help for rent, as well as buying the complete series of The Flintstones when Amazon had it on sale (great deal!). And my sister also got me really cheap tickets to visit her in DC, so it's a good year, all in all.

(wow, we haven't updated this one in a while)

Merry Christmas! Hope y'all had a good one. What did you guys get? My load was light, but besides basic stuff like clothes, I got a few Switch games- Doom, The Witcher III, and Sonic Mania- as well as The Virgin Suicides on Blu and the last Don Rosa collection.

Merry Belated, everyone! :joy:

I was out of the country for the Holidays and wasn't able to get online until I got back this morning. Hope everyone had a great Christmas!

We decided not to do gifts this year since we were spending a lot on going on vacation as a family, which I'm cool with, and we had a lot of fun. Except since my older brother couldn't come due to work obligations, we pitched in and got him a Nintendo Switch, which he seems to be pretty happy with.

He also surprised me and got me Death Stranding, so I guess I'll be tackling that monster before long.

Sounds like a good time, though! Where did your family travel to?

We went to LA, but were on a cruise most of the time. We visited Avalon (part of the Catalina Islands), Ensenada (Mexico), and also took a general tour of Hollywood the day we got back. It was a fun trip, overall.
