THAT I can agree with, though.
Life is not about the second chances. It's about a little mouse and his voyage to an exciting new land. That, my friend, is what life is.

Sir, do you have any Warrants?
I got their first CD, but you can't have it, motherfucker!

Just push Crocodile Rock to the front and I'd agree.  ;)

Not a bad list but I like the Ramones way better than DK.

Eh, the Ramones are too redundant for me nowadays. I get bored of them quick.

The problem is, I don't think DK is very consistent at all. I also can't really sit through an album of theirs anymore.

Whereas with the Ramones, I still bust out Rocket To Russia and Too Tough To Die every once in a while.

But whatever, it's your choice.

different strokes for different folks. Then again, my punk mileage has always varied.

I actually think I prefer later-era Ramones, now that I think about it. "We Want the Airwaves" and "Do You Remember Rock n' Roll Radio" are my jams.

End Of The Century is a bit underrated as a whole, but I do agree that a lot of their albums blend together. Especially the post-TTTD material.

I do remember at an old music board I used to go to I was considered crazy for thinking Too Tough To Die was their best album, but I really do. It's like they nailed the sound they were trying to get on the debut. The two hardcore songs even outdo most hardcore because they know where the style originated from (IE, them) but still have their hooks in 50s rock n' roll.

I don't listen to much punk anymore, but Rocket To Russia is still really fun, and Too Tough To Die still contains some excellent songwriting. Shame so many bands exist that sound exactly like them, it really takes a lot away from some of their other stuff.

Anyone want to do Top 10 Christmas Songs? (Give me a few ideas for my list?  ;D )
Well, I got so burned out on the road
Too many fags, too much blow
And then Mick and I split up and I said,
"Kid, it's time to take a little bit of a hiatus."
So I got myself a gig at the coffee shop
and I love it.
Why don't you take that corner booth,
I'll take your order in a minute...

Best Christmas song ever. Nothing gets me in the spirit quite like it.

It's the Christmas song that I immediately associate the season with. You know, the image of Christmas carolers on a street corner on a snowy day or night in December. To me, it's also a Christmas song that's hard to mess up. Whenever I hear it, in nearly any version, it is always just awesome.

And then there's the Trans-Siberian orchestra version. Don't even get me started on how awesome that version is.
