I like what I've seen of Hill Street Blues, but yeah, The Wire should be higher. I also don't see why Mad Men should rank above Breaking Bad, and I'm definitely a fan of both.

And it's pretty hard to talk about The Defenders, when so few of it is available to the public. It hasn't been televised in a long-ass time, and few episodes are around on the internet the last time I checked. This is a show that really needs a DVD release to be archived.
Life is not about the second chances. It's about a little mouse and his voyage to an exciting new land. That, my friend, is what life is.

Sir, do you have any Warrants?
I got their first CD, but you can't have it, motherfucker!

I can't get this out of my head, but basically I realize that all of the best shows currently on TV each explore their own deep, relatable theme on a regular basis. And that includes:

How I Met Your Mother- Age

Mad Men- Identity

Breaking Bad- Family

Community- Acceptance

Louie- Isolation

Game of Thrones- Pride

Each are varied, layered and usually subtle with how they tackle these themes, and are consistently lauded for all the right reasons, as well as prove week after week how power and necessary television can be. God bless 'em.

[No mention of Archer.]

I wrote that elsewhere, and didn't want to include Archer, since I still consider animation is in its own island for whatever reason.

But yeah, Archer focuses on obsession quite well, from the Archer family's history of addiction to Cheryl's pleasure to pain to Cyril's many, many insecurities.

Awesome sauce. Besides MTM, they have the following available:

  • I Love Lucy for the 50's
  • Star Trek for the 60's
  • The Cosby Show for the 80's
  • The Simpsons for the 90's
  • Lost for the 00's

If I had more money, I probably would have bought the Lucy and Simpsons ones as well.

I'll definitely go for the Simpsons one. You can't deny how great that show once was.

Avaitor

It does come with a poster inside, which has all six covers.

There's also a section on the backside dedicated to General Hospital with a similar cover, since this is it's 50th anniversary.

Parks is officially renewed. Good!

Meanwhile, Community is still up in the air. Meh.

Yeah, I don't think many people are going to lament the loss of Whitney or 1600 Penn.
