"You know, you really are... fantastic. "
"I try."

Release Date: November 25, 2009
Studio: Fox
Director: Wes Anderson
Aspect Ratio: 1.85 : 1
Starring: George Clooney, Meryl Streep, Bill Murray

Plot Summary: It is the story of one Mr. Fox and his wild-ways of hen heckling, turkey taking and cider sipping, nocturnal, instinctive adventures. He has to put his wild days behind him and do what fathers do best: be responsible. He is too rebellious. He is too wild. He is going to try "just one more raid" on the three nastiest, meanest farmers that are Boggis, Bunce and Bean. It is a tale of crossing the line of family responsibilities and midnight adventure and the friendships and awakenings of this country life that is inhabited by Fantastic Mr. Fox and his friends.

COMMENTS?

Cartoon Network is showing it this weekend, so I thought that I'd make a talkback for it to remind you guys. This is a really good one, and totally worth checking out. It's as dark as any Dahl adaptation, as well as hilarious as them, and it manages to combine the pacing of a smart family film alongside a vintage escape flick. It's my favorite Anderson film and proves my belief that Up was the weakest Best Animated Picture nominee that year.

Also, fun fact- I rented this from Netflix just before my mom lost her card and we had to reactivate our accounts. I never had a chance to return it and they never asked for it back, so I technically own a copy of it. I occasionally pull it out, too.
Life is not about the second chances. It's about a little mouse and his voyage to an exciting new land. That, my friend, is what life is.

Sir, do you have any Warrants?
I got their first CD, but you can't have it, motherfucker!

Well its not my favorite Anderson (Rushmore > God) but its definitely one of his greatest achievements.
