Thaumatropy: An Animation DogmeCast Discussion Thread

Thaumatropy - The transformation of one form of tissue into another.

Clearly inspired by the works of such visionary directors as Lars von Trier and Harmony Korine, Thaumatropy: An Animation DogmeCast aims to show the world that cartoons don't have to be fun. Art is never fun, after all. Does your script contain instances of humor or a discernable plot? Are any of your characters likable? Do you never see a single penis? Sorry, it isn't art. Fuck you.

Anyway, this is Animation Revelation's podcast. We watch and talk about cartoons. And also make jokes.

Episode 1 - BeBe's Kid (9/9/2012)

Foggle, Avaitor, Dr. Insomniac, and Lord Dalek watch (in)famous anime "masterpiece" Boku no Pico. Production was sketchy as hell, so several bits became intelligible and had to be edited out. Certain fragments do remain, and some are easily decipherable even. This issue will most likely be rectified in the next installment.

You can stream the episode online, and you can download it too! Options! (Coming soon to Tumblr, PodcastAlley, and iTunes.)

You can also access the main podcast index (http://animationrevelation.com/podcast.html) from the main site page. Lovely picture of Light from Death Note representing the button there.

It's not ensatsu-ken, talon, and gunswordfist arguing about FMA then devolving into petty insults for an hour so it's hard for me to relate.

There is no actual theme song btw, that was just a parody of other podcasts. We will have more (and actually good) songs in the future, though.

I love you.
