Brittany would have dumped Kevin the summer before he had to go repeat his second year, while she makes a sex tape with the guy from Kim Kardashian's, and Kevin dates the head cheerleader of that year, they eventually get married, then divorce, leading Kevin to become Bill Dauterive.

Jodi and Mac probably wouldn't last either, but I can imagine both doing well, Jodi rightfully living in her father's footsteps, but not out of affirmative action or anything as to not upset her mother, as Macdaddy, who doesn't resent that name anymore, hits an NFL team for a couple of years. He never becomes a big name, but he makes more than enough money to be happy for a long time.

Mystick Spiral won't last, obviously, but Trent will own a vinyl shop in downtown Highland. He'll still live with Jane since they're still novelty, and he really only makes a killing on Record Store Day.

Jake probably would've had a heart attack right now, and Helen would move in with either one of her sisters and still visit her daughters on a consistent basis. Figure out which sister you think she'll stay with.

On one hand... this is an absolutely horrific incident...

On the other hand... compared to other instances of Domestic Terrorism (Both WTCs, Oaklahoma City, Sandy Hook, etc.) this was the weakest of weak sauce and we should all be thankful to god that only two people are dead. Which basically makes this the Olympic Park Bombing 2.0.

It's awful, but I do somewhat feel the sentiments that nobody pays attention to such tragedies like this unless it's primarily white people that get hurt.
