Plot Summary: After returning from the Second World War, having witnessed many horrors, a charismatic intellectual creates a faith based organization in an attempt to provide meaning to his life. I REALLY want to see this movie, but I simply can't afford to attend any more films for a while.

I live in a region that lacks the ability to show this movie in the proper format. That saddens me.

Just saw it. It was very low-key in comparison to There Will Be Blood. The film has definitely fine performances by Hoffman and Phoenix. And despite what I said about the low-key tone, the movie's definitely one of Anderson's most surreal.
