Plot Summary: At the Opera of Paris, a mysterious phantom threatens a famous lyric singer, Carlotta and thus forces her to give up her role (Marguerite in Faust) for unknown Christine Daae. Christine meets this phantom (a masked man) in the catacombs, where he lives. What's his goal? What's his secret?

COMMENTS?

The month of all hallows eve is coming, and so is Universal's box set of their horror classics. This is the first film on the set, and starts off the series.

So this is the only version of the story I like (unless you count Iron Maiden and Iced Earth's songs). The novel did little for me, and Andrew Lloyd Webber sucks.
