I FINALLY got around to watching this. It's all over the place, but this is only a two-minute demo, so I can give it the benefit of the doubt.

But man, this doesn't look or feel like any over cartoon on TV, or even EEnE. I would totally be interested to see how this turns into a series if it gets picked up.
Life is not about the second chances. It's about a little mouse and his voyage to an exciting new land. That, my friend, is what life is.

Because Cartoon Network seems to do weird things (although it's awesome too), they uploaded Ed Edd n Eddy's Big Picture Show On Demand. And I watched it for the first time in a long time and its still awesome. Super hilarious, gives good focus to all of the characters and is pretty heartwarming at times too, it's just a great finish to one of the greatest shows I've ever watched.

My only complaint is that the other kids' attitude change towards the Eds feels really sudden. But, I'm willing to look past that because of the situation and because the Eds deserved a happy ending.

So, yeah it's great.

And while looking stuff up, I don't think I've ever seen Look Before You Ed, which I guess is the real last episode before this movie. Kind of surprising.

The last episode was pretty good, a primer for what season 6 would have been if they stuck to it as planned. I wrote about this earlier in the thread, but as happy as I am that we got the movie, in hindsight, I would have preferred to get the sixth season. The show still had plenty of life in it, and there's no guarantee that the movie still wouldn't happen if that's the route they went with.

Been meaning to revisit EE&E in honor of its 20th anniversary. I saw snippets of Big Picture Show again recently and was reminded why I loved it all over again.

Avaitor

I put the first episode on the night of the anniversary. It's kinda funny to see how the show has changed since then- the voice acting in particular is awkward in the beginning, and there's that brief bit where it seems like Double D has a thing for Sarah. But I still find the interrogation scene funny, and I like how the episode resolves itself without being too clean, a hallmark for the rest of the series.

I really wish I had easier access to more than just the first two seasons. While I'd love for DVDs, I'd gladly take a streaming option at this point. Netflix briefly had seasons 3 and 4, but their deal with CN wasn't ideal. At this point, I'm waiting for Boomerang to add it.

Full series will be available on HBO Max upon launch tomorrow.

It doesn't matter what you say, soon you'll be dead anyway.

Yep, alongside-

-Dexter's Lab
-Billy & Mandy
-Kids Next Door
-Foster's Home
-Chowder
-Flapjack

Although this is the one I'm most excited for. Besides still being my favorite, this will be the first time the show will be streaming since that brief era when it was on Netflix, and only in chunks. This should be the first time that season 5, along with the specials, "lost" episode, and movie, will be streaming.

Besides it, I am excited for Dexter and Billy & Mandy, since those aren't currently streaming either (although I think Hulu had DL for a bit), and they're probably my favorite after EEnE. KND is on Boomerang, and the other 3 are still on Hulu.

And it's not there. Neither is KND or Grim.

The CN selection is weak as is the DC section. I know DC Universe exists but still they could do better. Only two animated series, Beware the Batman and Teen Titans. Pretty disappointed.

Really upset about no Ed Edd n Eddy.

Avaitor

Yeah, it's basically just a mix of CN's Hulu section with their on demand. There are some things I want to catch up, and I might watch some Dexter's Lab later, but I'm disappointed.

I'm watching some of the new Looney Tunes, before I turn on an episode of Black Sails on Hulu. Was kind of hoping my first night here would be a little different.

Not just any show- he's doing a Lupo the Butcher show!

I have to admit that I'm unsure about this on paper. As enjoyable as Lupo is, it's a pretty one-note short and doesn't seem like it'd translate into a series all that successfully. But also, I trust Danny, and he wouldn't do something like this if he didn't have a vision and full creative control. I'm really hoping this one works out, especially since his horror movie and the pilot short he did a year or two ago never seemed to get off the ground.
