So tonight, I just discovered that Timon and Pumbaa (the series) apparently has a dedicated late-night timeslot on Disney Junior.

Wonder why this one made the cut, and not anything else DA-related. It's not exactly educational.

Avaitor

I dunno. The 101 Dalmatian show that The Huntsman is obsessed with is on there too.

Oh, and did you ever hear about The B-Players, the show that eventually became TaleSpin? Jymn Magon is writing all about it now. This is only part 1, but there's some really interesting stuff in here so far.
Life is not about the second chances. It's about a little mouse and his voyage to an exciting new land. That, my friend, is what life is.

Sir, do you have any Warrants?
I got their first CD, but you can't have it, motherfucker!

More Disney Afternoon merch is coming soon!

Since I missed out on the vinyl sets, I'll be sure to make it to the parks and get a pin set or two. I also really want that Gummi Bears shirt.

Goof Troop began airing 20 years ago. I doubt Disney would possibly give it a proper DVD release or celebration, but it is weird to think about how different their TV department was back then compared to now.

The anniversary was in April, though?

Possibly, but I just realized it now.

It's too bad it didn't last longer, but yeah, TDA was a big deal back then.

I'm hoping to find more articles like these soon.

Something else I learned from this page is that in DisneyQuest over in Orlando, there's a pinball game based off of the Mighty Ducks cartoon which is still there. Somehow I've never been inside of the place, but that's pretty cool.

When I was on vaca from work, I'd flip TDA on once in a while.

Gargoyles was TDA's Batman. 'Nuff said there. But before that, you had DuckTales (terrific theme song), TaleSpin, Chip 'N' Dale's Rescue Rangers, and some other great stuff. I was going to bring up that that Gummi Bears were also on Saturdays, but someone beat me to it. I wish they could bring back the Rescue Rangers, though, and team them up with Huey, Dewey, & Louie......

Avaitor

I was at Target today, and found both Rescue Rangers and Darkwing Duck sets for $10 each. I haven't seen any of these for this cheap new, so I'd recommend hitting them up if you haven't.

I still need the second sets of both myself.

Yeah, Aladdin would have been right at home with the rest of the Disney Afternoon.

Well it was a part of the block. For a little while, actually; it started in 94 along with Gargoyles and Shnookums and Meat, and lasted right up to its end.
