So, Disney put Paperman up on their YouTube channel.

For those that didn't see Wreck-It Ralph, that's the short film that plays just before it. Saw it yesterday, and it's just as good the second time around. The emotions that conveyed so strongly even though there's no dialogue are something that seems to be rarely seen in films. I seriously hope Disney's next film (Princess or not) is animated in this style. Needless to say, I freakin' love this short.

Now what say you?

It's such a beautiful short. If you haven't seen it (or WIR), I can't recommend it enough.
Life is not about the second chances. It's about a little mouse and his voyage to an exciting new land. That, my friend, is what life is.

Sir, do you have any Warrants?
I got their first CD, but you can't have it, motherfucker!

New blog!

Spark Of Spirit

Yes, I also recommend it.

Still one great short, glad it got nominated for Best Animated Short.

Exactly. CGI looks surprisingly damn good in greyscale.

DreamWorks should attempt something like this. Maybe an animated noir movie directed by Martin Scorsese? :sly:

I wouldn't be surprised if Disney actually made something like that. That Big Hero 6 film their supposedly working on would look really good if done like this.
