I'd like to think Socialism will be a viable option in America, and that things like universal health care or universal basic income will become actualities that anybody can attain, but there's too much in-fighting in the Left for that to happen anytime in the foreseeable future. Too many obnoxious leftists or neoliberals or antifas or whatever who think they're absolutely correct, and fail to realize such elitism only alienates people from their cause. I get it, Bernie Sanders was cool. But saying that he would've won a hundred times a week just makes me never want to hear his name again. And because of that, too many people see leftist ideals as a lost cause. People were so up their own ass about cultural Marxism that their beliefs failed to appeal to the average man, and if you managed to make people think the Right are more charismatic and charming by comparison, then you've failed as a movement.
