Cartoon Roots is a collection of rare prints of silent era theatrical shorts (many thought to be lost to time) collected over the years by animation archivist Tom Stathes. These shorts show how prolific animators from the Golden Age of Animation got their start before moving onto the large companies that would later emerge in that era. I highly recommend checking out Mike's review, and purchase it yourself on Amazon. (For $18, it's a good price.)
