Ha ha... that sounds like my brother. He knows when a character is voiced by John DiMaggio and then the character becomes his favorite, even if he doesn't like the show in question. I'd say he's one of my favorite VAs out there.

He's tied with Jon Benjamin for me. Chances are if he voices a character, I'll probably really enjoy it.
