I was just bringing this one up since the series returned to the Nicktoons Network.
I'm so happy to see Ren & Stimpy back, I kind of feel like saying "Happy Happy Joy Joy" myself.

If you ask me, this series uses more gross-out gags than hidden adult gags by the way. Any moments with the series, feel free to discuss 'em here!

I pretty much have every episode I'd care to rewatch on videotape.

Now that my VCR is hooked up in my room again, I don't feel the need to record R&S on NickToons.

Ren and Stimpy isn't a show I can just sit down and watch anymore; I've seen all the episodes I'm interested in(aka the Spumco episodes from season 1 and 2) several times over, and usually the only way I can watch it is if I want to see a particular episode of it, like the other week when I wanted to watch Sven Hoek for some reason.

So yeah, I really couldn't care less if this is airing on Nicktoons again.

I remembered hearing a long time ago that whole scene on the toilet in Fire Dogs 2 was based on an actual event between John K and Ralph Bakshi. True or not, that kind of disturbing.

Okay, here's a Ren & Stimpy cartoon I've been looking for. It's a late-era Games episode called "Reverend Jack".

If you don't get the story, it's based around what went wrong with the very show itself. Reverend Jack Cheese is a caricature of John K., with Ren & Stimpy being Bob Camp and company. In the story, Ren & Stimpy were eager to work for the Reverend until he goes apeshit, which causes the two to become disillusioned. Needless to say, the same thing happened behind the scenes with Camp and some of the Spumco crew; Camp in particular became really disillusioned with John and the two had a falling out.

And this whole "meat" business is a metaphor for animation.

So yeah, the episode is based on a true story.
