I think it's about damn time one of our favorite independent animators who does practically everything himself deserves his own thread.
Two years ago, he released the wonderful short World of Tomorrow, which you can watch on Vimeo. (https://vimeo.com/ondemand/worldoftomorrow)
Well, just today, he released the anticipated sequel! Watch episode 2 here. (https://vimeo.com/ondemand/worldoftomorrow2)

Love Hertzfeldt's work. I saw World of Tomorrow at the Show of Shows two years ago and it blew me away, and there was already a masterclass assortment of shorts in that show. Definitely need to check out the sequel now that it's available.
Rejected has been given an HD update, and he put it up on Vimeo for free. (https://vimeo.com/ondemand/rejected/255674105)
World of Tomorrow Three is out! (https://vimeo.com/ondemand/worldoftomorrow3)
Whoa! I didn't know that a third one was in production.
I still need to see the second, actually.
Don has launched a Kickstarter. (https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/worldoftomorrow/world-of-tomorrow-the-first-three-episodes-on-blu-ray) You can get all three episodes of WoT on Blu-Ray, and higher tiers can get you more of his shorts. The money will also be used to fund future projects.
I donated to the Kickstarter, and my Blu copy of World of Tomorrow came in!
Excited to get to these. I'll rewatch the first one before getting to the other two.
His next movie will be released next year. (https://twitter.com/donhertzfeldt/status/1740080375727038940)
He's making a new horror film with Ari Aster. (https://thefilmstage.com/don-hertzfeldt-and-ari-aster-collaborating-on-a-big-existential-horror-animation)
