So, that's it. The head honcho of 2012's "Worst Company in America" has given up his post.

Also, their stocks plummeted after the news.

I assume SimCity played a major role here. Hopefully this news will mark the death of always-online DRM. (Yeah, right.)

Highly doubt this changes anything.

The gaming industry, for the most part, is just completely trending in the wrong direction. EA is only the tip of the iceberg.
