Probably my favourite Dreamworks cartoon at the moment. It's a pretty fun post-apocalyptic romp that I'd describe as "the colorful end times landscape of Adventure Time mixed with the plot of Fallout, glued together with the urban music and vibes of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse." It was actually the show's cool street art aesthetic mixed with the use of Atomic Drum Assembly's "We Out Here" in the second teaser trailer (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NJ-AIjZQLXg) that put Kipo on my radar back in December. The first season released on Netflix back in January and was an absolute joy that I binged all morning/early afternoon, and stands as an animation highlight of that month alongside Book 2 of Infinity Train and Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken! for me.
