The big thing to note about this anime is that Kenji Kamiyama (Director/Writer of both Stand Alone Complex seasons) is going to be involved. As a huge SAC fan, I'm more than happy too see his return to the GitS franchise and I'll be looking forward to this new project. Hopefully, it will help suppress my memories of that godawful live-action film.

Watched some episodes after seeing that clip a few days back and... damn, this show is hilarious. It's really easy to tell when a director is familiar with or understands how to make things work in 3D, or if they just don't get it whatsoever. SAC 2095 is definitely in the latter camp. Posing is weird, the camera flies all over the place, etc. This show is full of so many dumb moments.
