Way back in the 80s and 90s, Gary Larson's The Far Side was a surreal and influential newspaper strip which ran till Larson's retirement in 1995. In the nearly 25 years since then, Larson has had little online presence, mainly using TheFarSide.com as an archive for his strips.
Back in September, the website made a surprise update:
