Hmmm, I just searched through both the anime and cartoon boards and I'm guessing my original Saint Seiya thread was on the other site right around its end.
Anyway, I just got done with episode 59 of Saint Seiya, I'm sure this is right where I left off and probably where the English dub DVDs ended. I had to get used to cloth being called "stole". I'm guessing that's a bad fan translation. Besides that, this episode had a cool weapons demo by Shiryu. :sly:
New trailer for the CGI film. (http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2014-06-17/saint-seiya-cg-film-new-video-showcases-saints-powers/.75645)
I have to say, the character animation looks really good. If the film is well received by fans I might also check it out, though I should probably read the manga first so I know what the hell is going on/who the hell these characters are. :D
That actually looks like the good kind of CG. I honestly can't even think of any anime that I've seen in straight up CG.
The first Saint Seiya anime is now legally streaming on Crunchyroll. (http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/daily-briefs/2015-01-19/crunchyroll-streams-saint-seiya-sanctuary-arc/.83475)
Legend of Sanctuary was incredibly hard to follow. Plot moved way too fast and every Bronze Saint looked like an escapee from Big Hero 6.
i will probably pick up where i left off.
