I've been meaning to make this competition for a while now, but work and life were just too busy for me. With summer around the corner for me, though, I will finally have enough time. I know there are already 3 competitions going on and all, but...I don't really wan't to wait for any of those to end to start this, considering how long it'll take for them to finish.  :D

Anyway, this should be pretty self-explanatory. You are allowed to nominate up to 100 maximum openings. This does not mean you need or should nominate that many, that's just the limit if you can think of that many you want in.

Some other things to clarify:

1. This competition is for anime openings, which means the actual opening to the show. Not just the song. This should be obvious, yeah, but I'm just making sure everyone understands this before they make their nominations.
2. Do not nominate anime endings. Only openings. This should also be obvious, but again, just want to make sure.
3. You may nominate openings to anime movies, though they must function like those of anime tv series. I will judge them on a case by case basis to see if they fit or not.
3. You may nominate english-dubbed or other foreign language dubbed versions of an opening if you wish, but you must make note of that when you make the nomination.
4. You can only nominate different versions of the same opening if the visuals are significantly different. For example, nominating the first and fourth versions of "Departure!" is allowed, because the visuals are completely different, but not the first and second, because they share too many similar visuals.
5. In regards to the above, while I'm allowing it because of various circumstances, I feel that, unless you absolutely have to, you should only nominate one version of a particular opening. Too many of the same could make for a repetitive competition, and is also unfair to openings that only have one version. Just something to keep in mind.
6. Also, dubbed openings count as a different version of an opening, so keep that in mind.
7. Like in the Greatest Video Game Theme competition, please add a link for which to find each opening on either youtube or another video-sharing site.
8. In the case you cannot find a youtube link for an opening, please post the next best thing. What I mean is, give me the link to an episode of the anime that features it or a clip that has it's song and visuals, and I'll try to figure out a way to edit it and maybe post the opening by uploading it on my personal youtube account.

The minimum amount of entries needed to start this competition is 64, nominated by at least 5 different users excluding myself. Please make your nominations by midnight, April 30th. I feel that should be more than enough time for anyone interested to compile and list their choices.   :)
