C.H. Greenblatt is answering questions about the show on his Tumblr.
There will be obscure Hanna-Barbera characters. (https://chgreenblatt.tumblr.com/post/188693959092/im-super-excited-for-jellystone-and-i-cant-wait)
It will be closer in tone to Chowder. (https://chgreenblatt.tumblr.com/post/188701055477/for-jellystone-will-the-town-lean-towards)

The animation isn't very high quality, but to be fair, neither were the original cartoons.
This is still looking pretty fun! I'll definitely check it out.
I wasn't expecting girl Jabberjaw.
This series is excellent! After WB's endless iterations of Scooby and T&J and almost nothing else, this show is the refreshing breath of fresh air Hanna-Barbera fans have needed for decades.
If you have an HBO Max account, go check this out.
I've only watched 3 episodes so far & this series is pretty good.
First few episodes were a pleasant surprise. Augie Doggie and her dad are the standouts so far.
This show is an absolute delight! Love all the reimaginings of the characters and am surprised at some of the obscure pulls they included. Augie Doggy and Doggy Daddy are adorably funny, such a great idea to update their original dynamic to make Doggy Daddy a protective helicopter parent of his coddled daughter. I also appreciate them making Cindy a real character - she steals the show away from Yogi at times. But I love Top Cat's crew and episodes the most. The episode where they had a turf war with the Heyyy, It's the King gang of all characters was just full of great jokes. I also think it's funny that Peter Potamus is a total weeb in this show. XD
It's joining Cartoon Network on September 4. (https://twitter.com/Izaart/status/1423705096026611713)
Well, that was quick.
Its going to be on Cartoon Network, not just HBO Go? Nice!!
Season 2 premieres March 17 (https://pressroom.warnermedia.com/us/media-release/march-stream-winning-time-rise-lakers-dynasty-oscarr-nominees-dune-king-richard-drive)

Glad to see the show is doing well!
Have only watched a couple episodes, but I've loved it so far. Despite the Chowder style, it feels like what Hanna-Barbara would be in the modern era which is no small feat.
I finally got around to watching this, and I kind of like it? Not love, honestly, because it's a little loud, and I struggle to get into that kind of show as I get older. I honestly would have preferred something closer to Harvey Beaks than Chowder.
But I mostly like how Greenblatt et al handle the HB characters, even if they take more liberties with some characters rather than others. Some choices don't entirely make sense, like making Yogi and the bears medical professionals, but I really like Huck as the mayor and Augie Doggie and Doggie Daddy's co-dependent relationship.
I'll probably watch the next batch when it airs, or maybe it'll be like Looney Tunes Cartoons where I'm still very behind.
Brak will be in an upcoming episode, and Andy Merrill will be voicing him!

Wow, is this going to be the first time he voiced Brak since the Cartoon Planet revival from a decade ago?
I know that we almost got that Space Ghost episode of OK KO, but nothing ultimately came of that.
This'll be the first time in a while he's done Brak in a professional production, but he's made a lot of Brak puppet finger videos on his youtube (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCZu3kR4soNn0Hj2qAnNFa6g/videos) over the past few years, and apparently even tried to turn the concept into a pilot (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ru_VmMs2XbA&ab_channel=AndyMerrill) for [adult swim] that they sadly didn't pick up.
I've been on a real Brak kick lately - been rewatching the show, listening to the soundtrack from the Brak Presents the Brak Show Starring Brak special, and even bought the new sweatshirt from Daylight Curfew, so I'm really happy he'll be reprising the role for Jellystone. Love to see Andy get to make and do more voices in stuff in general, Brak or not.

That's lame of AS, but I'm not surprised. I heard Steve Whitmire pitched a puppet show to them right after he got fired from the Muppets, but they wouldn't take it. AS just doesn't like puppets, I guess.
I feel like a little Brak goes a long way, and without a Zorak (or Brak's Dad, the best character ever) to play off of, it could be tough to sit through. Although I think finger puppet Brak filling in for bumpers could definitely be fun.
Cartoon Network characters will be added in a special 2-part episode. (https://www.instagram.com/p/CrR67wup4hF/)
