I used to travel every morning to Mansfield Art college, every day. The second bus was from a bus station the far end of a large shopping center. Early every morning i would walk past someone drawing on the pavement at the entrance and stepping,
tried to avoid treading on the big chalk drawings. Unknown to me at the time, the same person sold the evening paper at the other end (entrance) to the shopping center later in the day and i may well have passed her on my way home. I only recently found out that she took an overdose around that time, about 45 years ago. Life being a fleeting glimpse.
