Yes, I watched that entire fucking ABC Family piece of shit, just for you! Please enjoy the 5+ page review and first piece of original content for my new blog, everyone!

Reading this now. I like the idea of this movie, since cyberbullying is becoming a serious, unnecessary problem, but I don't think that an ABC Family movie was the right vehicle to promote awareness. I'll probably comment more as I go along.
DW was voiced by a boy? :o

Totally agreed on all accounts. The movie blows a serious problem out of proportion way too much to be taken seriously, the reasons behind the bullying/plot twists are asinine, and the protagonist is too stupid to do many of the obvious things she could have done to improve her overall situation. All the students are in high school, but they act like middle-schoolers, which hurts the movie even more. It's just unrealistic, melodramatic, silly, and poorly written.

From 2007 until 2010, apparently.
Actually, it seems that all of the actors who played DW have been boys. The hell's with that casting decision?
But yeah, hilarious review. Love it when Made-For-TV movies try to interpret teenage life.
Yeah, that sounds like a weak movie. Promising idea, no motivation or purpose to make it as powerful as it could be. I'm not surprised that Emily Osment did a decent job in the movie however, since she's the only person who ever tried in Hannah Montana. I'm sure she'll do something better in the next few years.
Great review. I cracked up a lot here, as I usually do with your reviews.
Thanks, guys! That took me about 3 days (on and off, of course) to write.

That's... really strange. I wonder why they'd do that.
If we learned anything from this movie it's that teenage girls are only motivated by two things. Teenage boys and fashion.
Hilarious review.
Oh, and Daft sends you his props for this review. He watched it as well, and thought that the acting was terrible.
Any idea what's next?

Well, the acting certainly wasn't
good, but it definitely surpassed my expectations.

Review of the first Higurashi Kira episode, then I'll get back to work on the next part of my Kiba article. Probably just some random reviews and stuff about life for my personal blog, but I do plan to write something to the extent of The Top 10 Fetishes That Scare The Shit Out Of Me eventually.
Anyone have any review requests? Can be anything from any form of media, as long as it's not some huge 1000 page novel, 50 episode TV series, or 100 hour JRPG.

And we never even get to
see her shoes!
Reading this review taught me something: That the whole "ambigously lesbian best friend character who screws her best friend/not-love interest over because she has a creepy guardian angel complex" thing really doesn't work without a supernatural edge to it.
At least it ends with a hidden scene of them tearfully making up, getting together, and proceding to have hot lesbian BDSM sex, right? Right?

Foggle, I remembered something that I want you to tackle.

I'd do it myself... but that would require rewatching it.
This was a thing that existed. Thank god I don't watch the ABC Family channel at all. That movie should have used Rynnec's ending, that would have made for a more enjoyable payoff, since in that review, I thought that Samantha wanted to have sex with Taylor all this time.
Great review and as always, laughs were had by all!
What did we learn from this movie? Teenage angst = srs business.
Nah, but really; great review. Sounds like you have an even higher pain tolerance for Hollywood-induced torture than I do. God knows I couldn't sit through 10-minutes worth of My Future Boyfriend, and that even had Fred Willard in it! This one sounds absolutely dreadful; they couldn't even get a token b-list actor to pop in for a cameo or two (although, by the sound of things, the acting wasn't the problem).
The REAL moral of the story here? ABC Family blows. But, 'ya know... we already knew that. :awesome:

*sings*Highschool is such a serious thing. These problems matter.
(Where is that clip of Family Guy when you need it?)
Speaking of high school, maybe you should rip into that Secret Life of the American Teenager show. God knows that deserves to be made fun of.
Oh lawd, I tried watching the pilot of that with my sister. Couldn't handle it.
Dear Christ... (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ab2MlvPAPiw)
Half of those sounded like they were saying "Zechs".
Which is a lot more disturbing.
Jennifer's Body, huh? That looked like utter tripe
and it was written by the same person as Juno... I'm on it.

Good lord, what the hell? Definitely going to have to check out/endure the pilot of this one.
Also planning on doing The Life Zone first chance I get to see it. Might rent Call of Juarez: The Cartel to give that shit a necessary thrashing. And apparently Jeffree Star is releasing a new album this fall; absolutely perfect for my first music review (unless you count that Soulja Boy article).
Jeffree Star? Ughhh...
My ex was huge on him/her and played his/her album constantly for me. Horrible shit.
As for Jennifer's Body, the fact that Diablo Cody wrote it was a big reason towards why I recommended it to you. I also did because you're a big Evil Dead fan, and you'll probably either dig or really hate all the nods to the movies in it.
Oh, and so we can celebrate the death of Megan Fox's career.
I also know some really bad Doctor Who episodes you should watch.
Truth be told, I think that would be more of your thing, since I don't think Foggle's familiar enough with the franchise to give them a thrashing.
I might jump on that bandwagon as well. I've been wanting to delve into all of my problems with Wizards of Waverly Place, and a post or two dedicated to it when the show ends could work. Or I could show that I'm not so blind to all of Demi's faults and talk about the Camp Rock movies.

Yeah, this. I'm sure they're terrible, but I don't really know a lot about Dr. Who, unfortunately. I've been meaning to watch it for a long time, but I've never started for some reason.

Sounds goo--wait. They made a sequel to Camp Rock? Good lord. :whuh:
Spoiler alert: it's a lot better than the first. Like, in every conceivable way. But it's still not very good.
And that's probably the last you'll hear of the Jonas Brothers doing stuff together, aside from the tour for it they did after it aired. Good riddance, too.

Wait, what? Do they hate each other now or something? Sorry, I'm not up to date on my Disney Channel news... :>
Thanks to my tumblr feed, I know more about all of these people than I have any right to know.
But yeah, two of them are working on solo careers now while the other got married, and they're already losing their fanbase to Justin Bieber and fangirls who are growing up. So the chances of them getting back together isn't too likely.
Meanwhile, Demi only seems to become more popular each day, and may finally drop the tween star mantra within the year.
Never mind, turns out they are getting back together. Ah well..
Oh, Foggle, would you be up for a worst of Glee package? I want to see how you handle their rendition of "Losing My Religion" and the Britney episode.
I'm not sure if I'm up for that after hearing the Glee cast rape Parliament and James Brown... :wth:
There's a rumor going around that Demi tweeted about Camp Rock 3 happening very soon, then deleted it shortly after.
I sincerely hope it doesn't happen. Mostly out of my belief that Demi needs to stay away from Disney and the Jo Bros and spend some much deserved time in the limelight and partly since I already have a good plan of how to review the first two and don't want to edge in more room for a third, but also because I just don't have it in me to sit through a another one of those.
Especially if I have to see another fucking kiss between her and fucking Joe Jonas. I still have to fast forward or look away from that scene each time.

Uh, what?
Like I said, apparently Demi said on Twitter that Camp Rock 3 is happening, but deleted her post not too long after it was made. I wasn't on when she did, so I don't know.

No, I was pointing out how the topic above didn't have any relevancy to any Demi-Disney conflict whatsoever.
Oh, I'm just using this thread as a thinking space for my potential Camp Rock reviews, and for other pieces like that which just don't fit our blogs that any of us are interested in doing. I hope Foggle doesn't mind.
