I never hear anything about what it's like to work there. Do they have an actual in-house studio or are they a virtual studio umbrella like Warner Animation Group?

It's probably the latter.

I don't think Paramount has produced animation on their own in decades. There was Famous Studios and... I can't think of anything else.
