Blab about your favorite or not so favorite HK films here.

I really want to watch the movie Reservoir Dogs ripped off, City On Fire. I have probably seen every John Woo/Chow Yun-Fat movie so seeing Chow in another highly regarded hk crime film sounds like the new logical step for me. I am not sure if the sequels are any good. I also hear God of Gamblers is another good Chow flick.

Let's See:

Hardboiled
The Killer
A Better Tomorrow
Drunken Master
Drunken Master 2/Legend of Drunken Master
Police Story
Ip Man
Ip Man 2
God of Cookery
Kung-Fu Hustle
Shaolin Soccer

And, that's about as much as I know about HK cinema. I really need to watch more movies from there.

My favorite John Woo characters:

8. Chong (A Better Tomorrow 2)
7. Ken Gor (A Better Tomorrow 2)
6. Mad Dog/One-Eye (Hard-Boiled)
5. Sung Tse-Ho (A Better Tomorrow) - Just found out today that he's played by the legendary Ti Lung.
4. Alan (Hard-Boiled)
3. John Tequila (Hard-Boiled)
2. Mark Gor (A Better Tomorrow)
1. Ah Jong (The Killer)

I meant to elaborate but I accidentally deleted my post...and it's been about 10 years since I've seen these films.
