Just learned that John Hurt is dead.

One of my all-time favorite actors, the first role I can recall seeing him was as Caligula in I, Claudius and in some ways, that's still the role I associate with him the most.

May he rest in peace.

He maintained a legacy anyone would be appreciative to have, and always gave his all. RIP
