I'm glad that RubberRoss was able to get his series off the ground and that the reception has been pretty positive, but I do fear for him now that it looks like he's gonna inherit the TADC fandom when the series has it's finale in a couple of days/weeks.

Also, Miss Information is best character in the show

Speaking of Glitch shows, I decided to watch the finale of TADC in theaters and honestly, it wasn't as bad as people saying it was. I enjoyed it immensely and the ending was what I was expecting, so there's that.

So new King of the Hill. I had fun. Same likes and dislikes as last year, really wish they went with weekly releases, Kahn's voice is bad, yadda yadda yadda. The Bobby/Connie plot is kinda running out of steam though and they need to move that relationship up in the next season. That reality show episode where Connie thought Bobby was cheating on her was a little annoying, reminded me of that string of Simpsons episodes where Homer and Marge kept breaking up.

With all that said, huge catharsis in seeing Hank finally become the owner of Strickland Propane. Our boy finally became the king of the Hills.

Watched the second season of Batman Caped Crusader, and I had enough things to say about it that it warranted an article. Thoughts that I couldn't fit into the article: Larys Strong as Joker is the one performance that I liked, the Paul Dini-shaped holes in the show are extremely apparent, and it's weird Bruce still refers to Alfred as "Pennyworth" even late into the show. I also don't know what it says that I watched this but haven't even bothered to watch the new season of MAWS yet.

Saw the first episode of that Pretty Please I Don't Want to be a Magical Girl thing on YouTube. It's all right. Kinda reminds me too much of Star Vs though. Though hearing people say this has contempt for the magical girl genre is funny when what contempt is there? That the main character doesn't want to be a magical girl? That's the plot of half of magical girl shit. I think people are getting too thinskinned and accusing any new show of having "contempt for the genre" as if a genre has feelings.

Oh yeah, also watched X-Men 97's second season. I was initially disagreeing with the criticism that it was too messy and bogged down with too many characters and subplots and that the pacing was too fast, but after a while, it was hard not to see why people were annoyed. Because the first season was a surprise for refining a lot of the stuff I liked about the 90s show while cutting out all the fat and tedium that made the 90s Marvel cartoons so much messier than the 90s DC cartoons, but now those issues were back and it felt like I was watching the old X-Men cartoon in all the bad ways. Like I have nostalgia for the old X-Men show since that was rerunning for years on either Fox Kids or ABC Family, sure, but every time I try to rewatch it as an adult (hell, even as a teenager since I watched and preferred Evolution back then), I just see it for its flaws. Like how the 90s Spider-Man cartoon has some of the most confused pacing any superhero show's ever had.

Not particularly interested in season 3, but it did have me think "Huh, kids don't really have their own X-Men cartoon anymore, they're instead stuck with ours and I don't think it fits." Because it kinda sucks TV culture's shifted in a way that's harmed kid shows the most, and modern day preteens are now just expected to watch YouTube slop or some annoying guy on TikTok instead. So now there's no real market for making a brand-new Marvel cartoon at grade schoolers, and we're instead getting legacy sequels or shows that take so long to get produced that any kid who liked season 1 will have grown out by season 2. And yeah, there's movies, like how well Brand New Day did. But movies operate on their own rules. Meanwhile, the last non-sequel X-Men cartoon show aimed at general audiences was the Wolverine one and that was 17 years ago. Even if you count the anime which was more of a niche thing since it aired on G4, that was 15 years ago.
