I have access to whatever Mrtzcmp3 and Mp3Skull have on "wax" (though I had to do a little Foreign Shopping to get my hands on Salt-N-Pepa's "Giddy Up"... that one's quite the slippery sucker). I only bothered with the singles and they only released 2 ("Sugar" and "Spiders") before 2000, which naturally is my cut-off year.   ;D

I'm currently in the H-I-J area. Who will be making my list quite a few times- they have an impressive pre-Live Through This catalog. Which I've known since I was a huge fan of theirs as a teen, but I wasn't aware "Dicknail" was a single (though that won't be making the list, not with so much more to choose from).

"Old Age" is playing right now - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kYsNB4_yt-M . Should have been a single! Instead, it's "Violet"s B-side. I should cheat and put it on the list anyway but... I've already literally cooked up / doctored a few cover pics for songs Wiki told me were singles. I have to have "Navy Bean" on my list: https://myspace.com/tracybonham/music/song/navy-bean-68382-77345 . So, I'm just blaming this on Wiki.

Avenged Sevenfold- "Requiem"

Since I'm seeing the Ghost show where they're opening for A7X, I figured that I should check out their new album. It's definitely taking more cues from Sabbath and Maiden, which is a good thing, but it's still not beyond okay.

Not a fan of A7X myself, but from what I've seen, a lot of the fanbase seems to be thinking that Hail To The King is a step down. I only hear them bitch about it all the time on another forum I'm on.  :D

Well they deliberately went for an old-school vibe here, so that's probably what alienated a lot of fans.

Which is funny, because their most popular (and best, IMO) album, City of Evil, is almost straight Maiden-fappage.

FINALLY got the final 999 set. That is, the selections. Working on ranking now... that takes awhile. Right now, Pharcyde is playing.
