I know this isn't actually Paramore, but it's Hayley Williams (and she's awesome). Anyone know her song "Stay the Night"? I just feel like mentioning that song does nothing for me.

But yeah, Ain't it Fun is awesome.

Sorry, I just can't do Paramore. I've tried the new album, but I still can't do it.

Sir, do you have any Warrants?
I got their first CD, but you can't have it, motherfucker!

It's about time they start to cut back on Happy.

Dr. Insomniac

I'm hearing Dalek sing the Sword Art Online opening right now.

Nostalgia tripping again... this time, Sheryl Crow triggered it. The UK really loved her in the early 90's, they made exclusive singles out of "Run, Baby Run" and "What I Can Do for You" and got her before America did. Her first American single ("Leaving Las Vegas"- which I adore, one of my favorite of her songs) dropped about 7 months after her album was released.

Well, I got so burned out on the road
Too many fags, too much blow
And then Mick and I split up and I said,
"Kid, it's time to take a little bit of a hiatus."
So I got myself a gig at the coffee shop
and I love it.
Why don't you take that corner booth,
I'll take your order in a minute...

"The Stroke" by Billy Squier.  Reading Youtube comments about how Eminem introduced people to this song depresses me, I've been hearing this song for a good 20 years or more. I guarantee your local classic rock station plays it at least once a day.
It doesn't matter what you say, soon you'll be dead anyway.

My mother probably had Billy Squier on vinyl back in the early 80's, but I remember the song mostly from carnivals / fairs, they liked to play it on outdoor rides that - of course - spun around a lot.

I personally like "In the Dark" a lot more.

I did not adequately appreciate this album as a teen.

The Suburbs - Rattle My Bones

I've been on an odd kick since that rec I gave of them.
