I wanted to give the shooters a boost, and as much as I like DKCR, it has more faults than they do.

Keep in mind that these matches are completely randomized, but since I entered everything through a tournament bracket generator, I do have the whole list of matches coming up for the first round. So trust me when I say that there are going to be plenty of really tough matches coming up. I'm going to have to down-rate some of my favorite games ever just to give higher ratings to some of my other favorite games ever. That's what makes this competition so exciting in the first place, though. :thumbup:

YES, SHINOBI III MADE IT! For what it's worth, DKC2 would easily be my no. 2 in that match, I just had to strategize

Sonic the Hedgehog 3 & Knuckles, Super Mario Galaxy, Metroid Fusion, and Donkey Kong Country Returns all move onto the next round. Hmmmm....It would seem as though all of the platformers made it through in these matches, and all of the shooters got left behind. Desensitized must be ecstatic! :>

Super Castlevania IV (I really love this game, despite not being able to beat it; that last level is HARD)
Donkey Kong Country (A great first game in the DKC series)
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (A shallow but surprisingly fun beat-em-up title)
Valkyria Chronicles (Haven't played)

Match 12:
Chrono Trigger (The only JRPG that I actually like; unless you count Pokemon games)
Super Metroid (A really great 2D exploration game that I still need to finish some day)
Double Dragon II (A great beat-em-up title, though I'm a bit more into the Streets of Rage games)
Klonoa (Haven't played)
