Sounds like you've finally gotten the point of what I was saying. Except for one part: I was calling it HD from your perspective in that initial post. Don't you know what they say about people who assume?

But hey, at least you've gotten some "new" material!

Dr. Ensatsu-ken

Aside from the fact that you've resorted the dumbest possible comebacks that you've used in a while in order to cover up your idiotic mistakes and assumptions, I have one other thing to point out: I just remembered that you are the same guy who ranked School Days as one of his top 10 favorite anime, and found it to be legitimately good. Now, there you go, THAT alone is reason enough for nobody to ever find your opinions credible ever again. :>

You used to be a fan of Bleach. And you claimed the Sonic Adventure games are better than the originals, so how do you like that? .3.

Guys, this shit has been tedious to read for ages now.
Life is not about the second chances. It's about a little mouse and his voyage to an exciting new land. That, my friend, is what life is.

Sir, do you have any Warrants?
I got their first CD, but you can't have it, motherfucker!

New blog!

As opposed to you being a fan of School Days? Yeah, sorry, but nothing's even coming close to topping that insane level of nonsense. :D

Bull shit. Prove it.

Hello all, my name is talonmalon333. I like to think I'm being clever by making stuff up about other users to mask my own incompetence, but really I know it doesn't work because everyone already knows I'm an idiot. However, one day I know I will be as smart as my all-time role model, gunswordfist. :happytime:

Rocket Knight Adventures- 14
Sonic Generations- 11
Super Mario Galaxy 2- 23
Mega Man X- 22

Devil May Cry- 17
Oddworld: Munch?s Oddysee- 6
Earthbound- 15
WWF: No Mercy- 12

Super Mario Galaxy 2, Mega Man X, Devil May Cry, and Earthbound all move onto the next round.

Round 1:

Match 29:

Star Fox Adventures

vs.

DuckTales

vs.

Contra (NES)

vs.

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie (SNES)

Match 30:

Streets of Rage 2

vs.

Devil May Cry 3: Dante's Awakening (Special Edition)

vs.

Shadow Complex

vs.

Jump Ultimate Stars

My Picks:

Match 29:
Contra (A classic)
DuckTales (I only played the first 3 levels of the NES game, but it's pretty great stuff)
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie (Another surprisingly fun beat-em-up game)
Star Fox Adventures (Haven't played)

Match 30:
Devil May Cry 3: Dante's Awakening (My 2nd favorite hack n' slash game, and IMO it surpasses the original)
Shadow Complex (A fun throw-back to Metroidvania style games)
Streets of Rage 2 (A great beat-em-up game, but I still need to beat it solo) ;D
Jump Ultimate Stars (Haven't played, but I hear Yusuke's a playable character in it, so that's something)

Alright come on, you and I both know that GSF comparison was too low a shot. Neither of us are that pathetic and meaningless. :gonk:

Also, put me down for the same order as you for Match 29. I'm passing on Match 30.

Spark Of Spirit

Contra - Excellent
DuckTales - Excellent
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie - I really enjoy the SNES Power Ranger games, the first stage music is awesome
Star Fox Adventures - Gamecube-era Rare...

Streets of Rage 2 - One of the best Genesis games
Shadow Complex - A great metroidvania
Devil May Cry 3: Dante's Awakening - I admittedly haven't played much of this, but I really like the top 2 a lot
Jump Ultimate Stars - These games are fun to watch

I feel like Star Fox 64 is the only game in that series I like (though I actually love it). I didn't like Adventures or Assault. The original SNES game is classic but I can't go back to it now honestly.

Spark Of Spirit

Star Fox 64 is really excellent, but none of the other games have measured up. Star Fox SNES is great, but it's really hard to play these days and could really use a remake.

Command is just a headscratcher.

So....What's the best way to avoid those damn bombs they throw at me through the windows on stage 5? I swear, it's been bugging the hell out of me because I seem to keep getting hit by them every time I divert my attention just a little bit to take care of the oncoming enemies. I like the game on the whole, but I fucking hate that part of the game, as I tend to lose a lot of life there.

Admittedly, it probably wouldn't be quite as much up your alley as it is for me, Foggle, and Rynnec, but I'd recommend giving the game another try some day. It's really one of the best hack n' slash games around once you get past the learning curve (which really isn't that bad, to begin with).

QuoteJump Ultimate Stars - These games are fun to watch

I'd probably buy it just for the hell of it if the game were actually licensed in the states (and I had a Nintendo DS).

Stay back and let them toss the bombs in front of you. They won't hit you and they eventually stop throwing them. If you're worried about enemies hitting you here, using your character's forward special move by the screen edge behind you or jump kicking usually keeps them from approaching. When you have enough space to maneuver, it gets much easier. Especially if you time your throws right.

Explosions can take out other enemies, too. So if you're surrounded, try to lure them into the path of the explosions.

It's not a particularly easy level, but that like the motorcycle part in stage 2 just requires practice. Sort of like throw recoveries and managing hitstun.

Quote from: Spark of SpiritCommand is just a headscratcher.

Command was bad fanfiction that somehow got turned into an official game. The fact that Nintendo still hasn't officially released SF2 despite it being nearly finished, yet released that mess saddens me.

Anyway, I'm gonna have to pass on both rounds.
