As far as platformers go, I think that Rocket Knight Adventures has stellar boss fights.

Spark Of Spirit

Well, it was made by the dude behind Contra Hard Corps and Shattered Soldier. Those games were BUILT on boss fights.  8)

So, is nobody going to break the tie? Because if not, then you're going to end up forcing me to do it myself.

Spark Of Spirit

Super Mario Galaxy 2
Borderlands 2
Majora's Mask
Deus Ex

There, does that help?

Sonic games are some of my favorite games, but their bosses have never been particularly amazing to me aside from the final boss in Doomsday Zone. They're mostly just good to me. Nothing special. That said, Mario is the same way to me, and those are still some of my favorite games.

If we're talking bosses, it was Mega Man that really made them something special.
What? No mention of Lava Reef's boss? I hate you both. :burn:

I liked Spark's change but then GSF screwed it up (just like everything else he has ever touched in his life). So I'm changing my scores in the hopes of re-fixing it.

1. Majora's Mask
2. SMG2
3. Borderlands 2
4. Dues Ex

Foggle

You fuckers will burn for putting Deus Ex at the bottom. :>

Dr. Ensatsu-ken

Borderlands 2- 7
Deus Ex- 13
Super Mario Galaxy 2- 15
The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask- 14

Super Mario Galaxy 2 and The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask move onto the next round.

Sorry, Foggle. One of your favorite games ever has been dropped from the competition, and it's all Desensitized's fault. Desensitized and his unabashed love for all things Nintendo. I guess this means you'll be seeking out revenge on him in a later round. :>

Round 2:

Match 6:

Soul Calibur II

vs.

Sonic the Hedgehog CD

vs.

Pokemon HeartGold/SoulSilver

vs.

Castlevania: Symphony of the Night

My Picks:

The one where Link fights an Elvis impersonator
The one with the Alucard who's not from a shitty manga/anime
The one that does everything possible to piss off PETA
The one with that kick-ass opening song that never gets used anymore

Spark Of Spirit

I didn't see you trying to break the tie.  :bleh:

Oh, so you would've preferred that I voted in a match where I hadn't played 3 of the games? Just for the record, if I DID vote, I would have put Deus Ex and Majora's Mask through, and dropped SMG2 (and consequently BL2 as well) form the tournament. So be careful what you ask for. :sly:

Foggle

I thought you liked Hellsing. :o
