That's the best video from the game that I've seen. ;D

Wow that dislike bar.

Looks pretty good to me! The graphical downgrade is a shame, but I'm not sure what people expect from this kind of game to warrant such disdain. It seems fun.

Admittedly, I'm a bit miffed about the graphics too, but it's nothing I'm canceling my preorder over.

From what I remember of the early concept stuff, the actual characters were 2D, right? Like, the levels had a 3D depth to them, but "not-Mega Man" just looked like a cartoon. That's what I thought we were getting for a long while. If it plays fine, though, I'm good.

gunswordfist

It doesn't have the greatest graphics in the world but it looks A LOT better than an older trailer I saw.

Comcept has another Kickstarter--Red Ash, the spiritual successor to Mega Man Legends!

Damn! Mega Man gets not one, but TWO spiritual successors? :joy:

Even better, Studio4°C is Kickstarting an animated series for Red Ash!

I'm a little wary of this since I heard the developer of game will be Hyde Inc, which has mostly only made Mobile games, Otome games and Browser games and has little to no experience with action games, let alone ones like Mega Man Legends. At least with MN9 being developed by Inti Creates was a smart move, since they did Mega Man 9-10. Comcept is more like a publisher than anything else.

Mighty No. 9 is now being delayed until Q1 2016

Anyone else find it a bit odd that they announced this delay after Red Ash didn't meet it's funding goals? I mean, I know Red Ash ended up getting a major sponsor and all, but still at least there was no crowd sourcing this time for anything but the anime.

Spark Of Spirit

If it wasn't for Inticreates I would have forgotten that this was still coming out.

But another delay really is ridiculous. Inticreates knows these games like the back of their hands. I bet if it was a 2D sprite game without any of Inafune's bells and whistles of non-game stuff, it would have been out by now.

WARNING: DO NOT BUY THE WII U VERSION OF THIS GAME. IT CAN BRICK YOUR CONSOLE.

Spark Of Spirit

Was planning on waiting for a sale anyway.

Comcept and Inafune really screwed this game up for Inticreates.

Looks like I'm sitting on my download code then. Mighty No. 9 is the gift that keeps on giving.

In retrospect, I am so glad that I only donated enough money to get the game. Glad I didn't go overboard with wanting to get special perks, since this guy mentioned that he didn't get a poster he was promised from donating to the $250 tier.

Nel_Annette

So glad I canceled my preorder. This whole thing has been an uber-depressing shitshow.

Daxdiv

I hear the Steam version is having saving issues. Like if you exit the game, it doesn't save your progress. Bravo Inafune!

Spark Of Spirit

Wasn't it delayed to fix all these things? Somehow I doubt it.

No, what he did, was run a Kickstarter campaign, pocket the money, give Inticreates almost no budget, skimped on bug testing, and had Deep Silver do a terrible job advertising his product. He spent nothing, pocketed everything, and left everyone worse off.

For someone who has been in the industry so long, he really should have known better.
