Pulp Fiction
Double Indemnity
Boogie Nights
12 Years a Slave
It surprised me, for sure.
Really? What surprised you?
I figured you'd put DI and BN at the top, honestly.
I actually just watched Double Indemnity again very recently, and every single line of dialogue still caresses me, but Pulp Fiction is something else. And as much as I like some PTA, there are some things that he does as a filmmaker that I'm not-so-enthused about, even compared to Tarantino.
Life is not about the second chances. It's about a little mouse and his voyage to an exciting new land. That, my friend, is what life is.

Sir, do you have any Warrants?
I got their first CD, but you can't have it, motherfucker!

Since I want to watch all the classic Star Wars in order and I have multiple movies and a 3rd of a season of a show to watch by next week, I'll just pass. I wanted to save Big Trouble. :'(

I love me some Campbell Bond. I've yet to see any of the CR sequels and I've seen none of the classic but Casino Royale and Goldeneye are my favorite Bond movies and Brosnan and Craig are my favorite Bonds.

Goddamn you, CX! You know that TFA is my favorite MCU film, so you put it in a match where I just couldn't rank it above the competition. You sly, underhanded SOB. :burn:

Hard-Boiled
Captain America: The First Avenger
Argo
Raging Bull

That was a legitimately tough match. I adore all of those movies. Captain America's first outing is really underrated by MCU fans, IMO, but those other three films are some of the greatest that I've ever seen, regardless of genre. Hard-Boiled in particular, while not everyone's cup of epic teahouse shootout, is a classic 90's action film from John Woo. I wish more people knew him for his Cantonese films rather than his American ones (Face/Off and MI2).

Serenity
Copland
Hitchcock

I'll have to pass on the second match for right now.

Raging Bull
Hard-Boiled
Captain America
Argo

Captain America will not be seen in Round 2.

...if it were up to CX. :>

Captain America The First Avenger
Hard-Boiled
Argo
Raging Bull

I've seen 3 of these 4. The only match so far that I think I could say that for. I'll watch the one I haven't seen if I get the time this week. I'll probably be out of town for too long though.

Yo, blame the random generator, not me. The Captain America movies are the only MCU films I care about (besides Guardians of the Galaxy), the character himself is a contender for my favorite Marvel character (it's a toss up between him, Spider-Man, and Deadpool), and the only other film I've even seen in that match is Argo, hence why I haven't voted yet. So if TFA gets knocked out, that's on y'all. :P
