Haikyuu has an AMAZING soundtrack, IMO. That combined with good animation and directing turned a mediocre sports manga into a solidly good sports anime.

Yeah, I only watched a few episodes, but the OST, animation, and directing were all as on point as I've ever seen from an animated series, sports-related or not.
